Ultra-Precise Angle Measurement Solutions
Level Up Your Angle and Range Measurement System
Perform High Precision Distance, Angle, Motion, Orientation + Localization Measurements
Measuring angles is fundamental to localization, or determining the position and orientation of objects for control, positioning, and navigation.
Classical localization systems have changed little over time - they rely on pixelated cameras or lasers and rotating stages. Angular resolution is then related to number of pixels or precision of stages, capping their ability to improve precision by 10x or 100x while reducing size, weight, and cost at the same time.
Accu-Arc sensors take a new approach. This technology uses multi-channel monolithic optical systems to deliver maximum sensitivity, traceable data, and precision at the lowest SWaP.

HAND-HELD TOOLS
Sub-millimeter localization and orientation of the tool in real time (where am I?). Real-time localization information to steer the tool or record location vs time.
LONG-RANGE LOCALIZATION
Long-range cm or mm precise localization to replace GPS (where am I?) indoors or where GPS satellites could be obstructed.
AUTONOMOUS NAVIGATION
Short and long-range real-time localization and orientation and object avoidance (where am I? and where is that?). Closed course operator-less applications.
How It Works
Six degrees of freedom localization and angular velocity estimation
Ascentia’s angular measurement systems have multiple channels that gather unique orthogonal information related to the angles of distant sources. These orthogonal channels enable very fast, accurate, and precise measurement of angles to distant sources, source velocity, and acceleration.
